Monteverde is known as one of the most famous ecotourism destinations in Central America, and this cloud forest really has an extraordinary range of flora and fauna. During the drive, you will be witnessing the changing of scenery from the semi-dry landscape of the Pacific low lands to the green and hilly views leading up to the cloud forest. The starting point for the tour is a conservation project near the Monteverde area, and afterwards the adventure takes off at the Selvatura Canopy Tour. Your adrenaline level is guaranteed to rise when walking over the hanging bridges or sliding down the zip-lines. After this experience, the trip goes to a fascinating learning center that has one of the world's largest insect collections.
