SCUBA DIVING FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS

This diving trip goes to the Catalina Islands, which is a group of different volcanic rock formations that emerge to the surface at Flamingo Bay. These circumstances provide a special setting for the abundant marine life. You'll be picked up at the hotel and driven to the Flamingo Marina, 20 miles away. Here the referral course will take place, and afterwards you'll be taken to the islands. There you'll be able to see huge manta rays, white-tipped reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, and devil rays. There are also schools of cownose rays, as well as schools of jacks and grunts, which are among the most common species that divers usually spot in these rich waters. 

The bottom is mostly volcanic and the average maximum depth is 60 feet. Visibility, currents, and conditions in general tend to change every day. When currents are present but not strong, divers drift with them and the boat follows to pick them up at the end of the dive. Visibility varies depending on the day and the season. Our tour operator works under the PADI Association rules. Please note that reservation in advanced is required.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Comfortable Clothing, Water Bottle, and Sunblock. 

DEPARTURE: 6:15 AM. Pick up 15 minutes before. 

DURATION: Half Day

**(1) Certain tour operators and shuttle companies require a minimum number of people to run the tour or transportation service. In the event that they do not meet this requirement, the tour will not be offered and we will work with you to book a different tour. (2) Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather, strikes, blocked roads, or any other reason beyond our control. (3) A client must cancel at least 48 hours in advance if they wish to cancel. Any reservation made less than 48 hours in advance must be canceled at least 8 hours in advance. (4) In the case of a cancellation by the tour operator, a refund will be offered to participating guests. (5) Selina is not responsible for any property or items lost during the tour. (6) For some tours / transportation / rental equipment, clients are required to sign a waiver at the Selina property. (7) The times in the descriptions are approximate times and are subject to change depending on availability and conditions. (8) The hotel might charge you the full amount to confirm the reservation.
